A Sandwich for foodies… with Argal Salsichón with peppers

A balanced and healthy sandwich. Make it with walnut and raisin bread, to benefit from all the healthy energy of bread with the extra vitamins, minerals and healthy fats of walnuts and raisins… Now throw in some roasted vegetables, some peppers, onion, leek…slow-cooked to keep in all its nutrients, a tasty and healthy touch. The recipe:

Sandwich with walnut bread and Argal salsichón

Ingredients (for 1 sandwich):

  • Walnut bread (2 medium slices, about 50g)
  • Argal Salchichón (3-4 slices)
  • Roasted red and green peppers (about 50g)
  • Roasted onion and leek (about 20g)
  • Tomato pulp and olive oil

Preparation:

  • Thoroughly clean all vegetables and roast them in the oven for about 20 minutes at a medium heat.
  • Once cooked, remove the skin from the peppers and onion and the outer leaves from the leek.
    Cut into thin strips and set aside.
  • Place the tomato pulp and olive oil on the bread.
  • Add the roasted vegetables to taste, then the sausage and…it’s ready to eat! Enjoy!
